BACKGROUND
The brand’s philosophy is to reimagine India’s rich embroidery techniques through design interventions and delivery, and always keeping them contextual and relevant to todays woman Drawing from culture, and connecting the colloquial to the cosmopolitan, these design statements re-fashion India’s oldest craft techniques into fresh and edgy design that can seamlessly traverse geographies.
The Forest of Chintz brand mark is inspired by the closely intertwined, and sometimes overlayed detail of the surface design of the products.
The handrawn type also communicates sublimely the density of a forest full of magic. A simple handcrafted piece of typography this very quickly makes a visual statement, without needing any other support. Strong, in your face and absolutely contemporary, the Brand mark works in isolation or with graphics.
